Building skills, restoring hope, creating opportunities.
FREEDOM Forward is a structured, year-long education and skill development program designed for adults with mental health disabilities. It is built to complement the vital work already done by guardians, public administrators, families, and providers, not to replace them.
FREEDOM stands for Fostering Recovery, Education and Empowerment to Develop Opportunities for Moving Forward. Participants engage in two structured groups each weekday. The first follows a six-phase core curriculum focused on essential skills and personal growth. The second builds on those concepts through discussion, practice, and individualized learning at each person’s pace.
Throughout the program, participants build a restoration portfolio, documenting completed work, skills demonstrated, goals and achievements. This portfolio is meant to support constructive conversations with the people involved in each person’s support.
FREEDOM Forward is grounded in collaboration and respect. Our vision is to help create clear pathways for growth, confidence, and greater independence over time.
